Get all of this information ready before asking for quote:
Length of each run: these come in 4 foot sections, so 10 connected sections would run 40 foot on your floor.
Height of each run: usually taller on the walls, and island short enough to see people.
Height is usually in 6" incriments.
Base deck size on each run: the "base deck" is your bottom shelf. Unlike other shelves, this isnt adjustible. It's part of the unit.
The base deck size will determine how wide your islands will be (plus 3" for the post on Lozier and Madix).
Shelf counts and sizes: you can have a total count (example: 330 - 16"x48" shelves)
You can also explain how you want it to look and let the dealer figure the count. (example- I need the base shelf plus 3 upper shelves on all faces)
Timeline: if you need it quick, or if you can wait. This is info that the dealer might need to know. Used shelving is somewhat fluid in many ways.
Shiping info: usually just a zip code. If you dont have a loading dock or forklift to unload truck, you ll need to mention that. Liftgates and residential deliveries incur surcharges.
